May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Love Letter to my wife at 16 wedding Anniversary.
I am a bit emotional this morning giving thanks to God and looking back to how God has brought us through in this journey.
February 21, 2004, was a very significant year in my life, the day I publicly declared before God and men to accept Oluwatoyin as my wife, I want to thank God, I have kept to this vow ever since and the love keeps growing in the midst of the storm.
We have weathered many storms together, cried together, laughed together, all of these experiences keep the bond of love stronger and make the journey exciting.
I can’t but appreciate Oluwatoyinmi for accepting me the way I am, you have helped my love for God to grow deeper by not distracting me and I am glad God gave you to me.
I had nothing to show you or convince you back then, but you saw the future with me and believed the word I shared with you that “Can two work together except they be agreed”. Amos 3:3
I want to believe, you don’t regret following me and the future you saw then.
Today, I renew my vow again before God and men that till death do us part or till we see Jesus, I will love and care for you, I will remain your discipler, your companion and confidant and continue in my priestly office in the home. I will be a good example of a husband to you and a father to our children. Look into my eyes and correct me when I am wrong, I will remain loving and teachable, nothing will separate us from the love of God. My desire is to see you and the children established in God until Christ is fully formed in all of us, there is a reason why we came together and that is the major task before us, to see kingdom of God established in every lives and homes, setting a standard through our lives and, our marriage and relationship.
I love you my dear!
Happy 16th wedding Anniversary my dearest, Choice mi (as you fondly call me).
